How do I send a voice recording in a text?

I want to send a voice recording in a message on my LG410G phone, so that I can use it as my ring tone, but I don’t know how. I read that I should put it in a text, but I just cant figure out how. Could anyone help me?

well you go to Media Center on your phone it should say something like music and tones you click on it and then find sonething that says my sounds click on it and it should say record new record it and save it and click on options and press send and you can send it to a friend or put in ur # and send it to ur self
