Broken memory stick Pro duo with Alpha DSLR-A100K?

Hello:
I have a Alpha DSLR-A100k. After using up all my Space on the Memory stick pro Duo, (From Sandisk, 1 gigabyte), An “Unable to use card, format?” Comes up. After that, I answer yes, and format the card. However, I can’t format it! No progress on the pink progress bar is shown, and a “Unable to use card” message comes up. PLEASE, help me! For I have paid LOTS of money for that one gigabyte card!

Now keep in mind that formatting your card will erase everything you have stored on there, so if you still have pics on that card, download them to your comp, or print them!
Then, when your card is empty, try formatting it again, see if that makes any difference.
If it really is a problem with the card, contact Sandisk and tell them what’s up with it… Some companies will send you free stuff to keep you happy when their product fails…
Lastly, have you tried any other cards, just to make sure it’s not actually a problem your camera?? You never know.
