Sports coaches have to put a considerable amount of hard work and dedication into their jobs as a lot of people rely on them. Sportsmen realise they will not become the best without an enthusiastic coach behind them. It’s the coach’s job to get the best out of everyone. During a training session, a coach or instructor will use many different types of equipment and depending on the sport they may have a lot of expensive equipment under their supervision. If anything happens to this equipment, whether the pieces of equipment are stolen, damaged or lost you, as the coach, will be held liable if you don’t have adequate insurance.

Whatever the sport, it is vital that sports instructor cover is found as all sports carry a degree of risk to participating players. Sports like Rugby, Football and Martial Arts carry a high degree of risk where broken bones and sprained muscles are common issues. As such a sports coach needs to have comprehensive and specialist insurance so that if injuries are incurred then they (the coach) are not held liable.
